Diana is the embodiment of “perseverance pays off” and her children, family and friends can attest to that. At 17 years old, she withdrew from high school and faced a series of obstacles that challenged her but did not deter her from achieving her goal to work in the medical field. Over the years she’s worked hard and earned a certificate for Medical Assisting and Medical Administration and went back to school to get her high school equivalency diploma. Prioritizing the well-being of her children she found a job at MIT as a Medical Assistant. She is on the path to achieving her dream. Her goal is to enroll in college to begin work towards a career in nursing.
