Javier was born in Paterson, New Jersey, has lived in New York City and now lives in Fitchburg MA. Javier was raised in a family that did not value education and met no resistance when he dropped out of high school. Javier struggled with addiction for many years and has spent time in prison for a DUI. While in prison, Javier found strength in religion and sobriety and has been working to improve his life through education ever since. In February of 2019 Javier passed his HiSET and is now pursuing a Human Services degree at Mount Wachusett Community College.
