Joshalyn’s life is a testament to strength and determination. Despite a challenging upbringing and adversity at every turn, she refused to become a statistic. From a young age, she faced difficulties, but she never lost sight of her goals.

Leaving home at twelve and moving to New York alone, she demonstrated resilience and survival instincts. Instead of succumbing to peer pressure and her parents’ history of drug abuse, Joshalyn said no to drugs and alcohol, forging her path forward.

Graduating with a GED and certifications at sixteen, she showed remarkable dedication to her education. Her current plans to pursue higher education at Bunker Hill Community College and a degree in finance at Northeastern University exemplify her determination to create a better future for herself.
