Kevin grew up in the Dominican Republic with his mom and siblings while his father worked in the U.S. As a child, he suffered from asthma and spent a lot of time in the hospital. Despite his physical challenges, he excelled in school and taught himself how to draw and paint. After graduating from high school, his family made the decision to leave the Dominican Republic and join his father. Although Kevin was excited to continue studying art, he had to work to support his family. After working for many years, he was finally able to commit himself to learning English in order to pursue an art degree. He is currently working on perfecting his English and plans to become a graphic designer.
