OUR IMPACT IN FISCAL YEAR 2021

Our impact grew in 2021. First Literacy awarded a record number of scholarships to adult learners and provided grants of up to $15,000. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, First Literacy professional development workshops continued to be held virtually, allowing us to break outside the Metro-Boston area and reach more adult educators. In the coming year we look forward to a hybrid approach for our workshops so we can impact adult educators in even more cities and towns throughout Massachusetts.
