This workshop discussed immigrant and refugee students in the classroom and how educators can support them. Objectives included main themes regarding immigration today, strategies for combatting disinformation, an asset-based approach to utilize with students, and strategies for lifting up foreign and U.S.-born students’ stories in the classroom.
