Lindsay Bishop Elected to First Literacy Board of Directors

First Literacy is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsay Bishop to the board of directors.

“I have supported First Literacy for many years, and I am honored and thrilled to serve as a board member,” Bishop said. “First Literacy’s mission is critical to creating equity, opportunity and independence, and I am excited to contribute to the organization’s goal of empowering adult learners.”

Bishop resides in Southborough and is a Partner at K&L Gates. Bishop joined the First Literacy Board effective July 1, 2025, and will serve alongside sixteen additional members of the board.

“We’re excited to welcome Lindsay as a new board member,” said Terry Witherell, Executive Director of First Literacy. “Lindsay has been a donor for many years and has participated in our annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser. As a long-time supporter she understands the importance of our work and will be a great advocate.”
