First Literacy of Boston seeks teams of ‘savvy spellers’ for 34th annual spelling bee

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 6pm First Literacy will host the 34th Annual Spelling Bee at the State Street Channel Center in Boston. Anyone who would like to form a spelling team can do so. During the Spelling Bee swarms of spellers will compete by spelling words sure to stump even the savviest of spellers.
February 7, 2024 – First Literacy is recruiting teams to take part in its 34th annual spelling bee, the largest fund-raiser for the Boston-based provider of adult basic education programs. Corporations, families, friends, and community groups are eligible to compete in the event scheduled for April 11 at 6 p.m. at the State Street Channel Center in Boston, First Literacy said in a statement.
